Daniela is a rising junior at Binghamton University, a State University of New York, majoring in Biology. After college, she plans on attending physician assistant school for surgery. Daniela is very driven into helping others and is very thankful to have the opportunity to intern at Heart and Health. As an intern, she gained patient care experience and improved her professional skills in medical terminology, communication, and multitasking. She especially enjoyed shadowing the physician for wound care and building strong relationships with the patients. Daniela would like to thank the team for giving her the opportunity to learn about working in the healthcare field and preparing her for a future in medicine.
